FRONT page feline Leo is still looking for someone brave enough to give him a home.
His carers from the Celia Hammond Animal Trust are desperate to find someone to put up with his terrifying tantrums and asked the Shuttle/Times and News for help.
After the long-haired black semi-Persian appeared on Page 1 two weeks ago, four people offered him a permanent home - but sadly none of them were suitable.
"One lived by a busy road and the others all had animals or younger children," said the trust's Adrienne Chadwick.
"We couldn't let them have him. It wouldn't be fair on them. They might think he's been fine for a week or so and pick him up and that could be a disaster."
Leo has been living in the bedroom of foster mum Lynne McGregor's home in Kidderminster for more than two years. He's been handed back by five foster homes for beating up and frightening off other cats and he occasionally "goes barking mad" and attacks Lynne with fangs and claws.
The trust has been operating for 14 years and Leo is their longest and most difficult resident.
"I've never known anything like it," said Mrs Chadwick. "He really is a beautiful cat but he does need a dedicated animal lover to take pity on him. We're still hoping someone like that will come forward and give him a permanent home."
Anyone interested can call Mrs Chadwick on 01299 404578.
