BUDDING young buil-ders at Dunnington Primary School were given hands-on exper-ience of the trade and allowed to build their own houses this week.
The Warwickshire Education Business Partnership and the Construction Industry Training Board organ-ised the Can We Build It? day for pupils on Thursday.
Five and six-year-olds spent the morning looking at construction activities like the building process, job roles and health and safety.
They then built their own houses using special mini bricks and mortar, supervised by Rob Harwood, of Arden Construction in Alcester.
Karen Dean, area co-ordinator for the business partnership, said: "It is a wonderful opportunity for the children to work with a highly skilled professional."
