I WRITE in reply to A North's letter in last week's Shuttle/Times & News criticising the increased admission prices at Aggborough.

By suggesting that the board of Kidderminster Harriers are greedy does he think the club have a large mountain of cash they are keen to add to with this price increase?

It is most likely the chances of him having a local league side to complain about would be greatly reduced if it wasn't for this price increase.

Kidderminster's home support is no greater than our Conference days as people prefer to spend their Saturday afternoons shopping or watching Sky TV in the local pubs.

Many of them will keenly ask you the score on your way from the game and some plucky ones will even try to tell you where the players are going wrong - and they don't even bother to go to the games!

The board has decisions to make- do we want to survive in this league on the crowds we have and hope the loyal fans pay the extra admission cost or do we give in to the apathy of the town and sink into a financial mess?

I very much doubt the loyal fans of KHFC will mind this price increase and it is a shame a few more people from Wyre Forest do not try and support their local league side.

You may be surprised how exciting surviving in Division Three against the financial odds can be.
