KIDDERMINSTER Harriers Ladies' unbeaten West Midlands League Division One record came to an end on Sunday.
They lost their final game of the season 5-2 to Ross Town after playing for an hour with just nine women.
But Harriers have still been crowned league champions for the third year in succession.
Harriers started the game with 10 fit players but then lost Amy Dunnett on the half-hour mark with a sprained leg.
Yet Vicky Roberts put Harriers ahead on 12 minutes, chipping the advancing keeper from 16 yards after a pass from Lisa Stokes.
Ross equalised six minutes later through M Powell before T Rutter and Gemma Wadley added further goals, despite the efforts of Harriers keeper Rachel Baldwin.
Roberts added a second for Harriers when she slotted the ball past the keeper from a tight angle six yards out.
And Emma Bowdler came close to levelling when her 30-yard drive crashed against the upright.
But Powell sealed the victory for Ross with two goals in seven minutes.
Harriers have won 17 of their matches this season, drawing two and suffering just the one defeat.
They are looking for new players for next season's Premier Division campaign and a new sponsor.
