THE wet weather cut Chaddesley Corbett's Worcestershire League Division One title bid short for a second week running.
Chaddesley are just three points off the top as only two games were completed in their division.
They gained nine points after restricting visitors Droitwich Spa, chasing 163 runs, to 88-5 before the rain forced an abandonment.
In Chaddesley's 162-7, A Law top scored with 42 runs.

Chaddesley seconds gained a winning draw and 13 points in a rain-affected clash at Droitwich who batted first to amass 202-7.
Matthew Yardley crashed a superb 85 not out in reply as Chaddesley kept within the required run rate to finish on 158-4.
