VISITORS Astwood Bank were frustrated by the weather at Walshes Meadow on Saturday as Stourport's Worcestershire League Division Two game was abandoned.
The village side posted a useful total of 164-4 from 32 overs before the rain eventually forced an end to the game.
Stourport elected to field and were left to rue three early dropped catches as Bank progressed to 70-0 from 21 overs ahead of the first deluge.
A brief resumption was possible after tea and Bank accelerated their total but to no avail, leaving the town side bottom of the table.

Stourport seconds held out for a draw at Astwood Bank after a long afternoon in the field.
At one point, the home team raced to 180-1 inside 30 overs but good bowling from youngsters Aaron O'Malley and Rob Davis helped to stem the tide.
Astwood eventually declared on 260-6 which proved to be beyond the visitors.
Bryan Colley started his season where he finished the last for a dominant 90, with good support from Richard Lane (23) and Martin Brewer (35).
