THE BATTLE of the stores is hotting up.
This week, Sainsbury's exhibited its plans for a supermarket in Swanpool Walk, St John's, at St John's Church, Worcester.
And Tesco launched its advertising campaign explaining its plans for an alternative store close by, on the site of Christopher Whitehead High School. A full page advert appears in today's paper.
Only one of the stores can be built.
To help you decide which supermarket you would prefer - if any - this Monday's Evening News will be bringing you full analysis of the proposals, artists' impressions of what the new stores would look like if they were given the go-ahead and reaction from residents.
