FORMER pipe lagger Raymond Frogatt is bringing some of the pieces recorded by artists across the world to Tewkesbury.
Brummie Frogatt will perform some of his country ballads and rock and roll at 7.30pm on Sunday (May 18), at The Roses theatre. Tickets are £11.50 and £10.50.
The University of Gloucestershire will present the rock opera Godspell on Tuesday (May 20), at 7.30pm. Tickets are £8 to £5.
An evening of baroque music is offered by Red Priest. Their Nightmare in Venice: A Baroque Fantasy begins at 7.30pm on Thursday, May 22. Tickets from £12 to £10.50.
The critically acclaimed film Far From Heaven will be screened at The Roses on Monday at 11am and 7.30pm and Wednesday at 7.30pm. Starring Julianne Moore and Dennis Quaid, it explores issues of race in 1950s suburban America. Tickets are £2.50 to £5.
During half term, Jungle Book 2 and The Little Polar Bear will be showing. Admission is £3.50, with screenings at various times from Friday, May 23, and Friday, May 30. For information, call 01684 295074.
