VOLUNTEERS drivers are being sought for a new minibus scheme in Upton.
The town council has applied to the Countryside Agency for a grant to run a pilot bus service from the outlying areas of Upton into the town.
The service would run on Fridays to start with and would be partly scheduled and partly based on demand and response. The application is part of the wider Malvern Matters plans for public transport in the district.
The vehicle to be used is owned by Community Action and any volunteers would need to be acceptable to them. A basic requirement is a full driving licence and willingness to take part in training courses.
Anyone interested should call Simon Wilkinson on 01684 592894.
