HIGHLIGHT of the Golden Valley Hunt point to point meeting at Bredwardine tomorrow is the Welsh Border Counties Area Confined Championship which has attracted a competitive entry of 12, all of which are expected to run.
Last week's impressive North Ledbury winner Dovetto in the hands of Vicky Price and Asthefellasays, probable mount of Richard Burton, head the entries but strong showings are also expected from Cadougold, an unlucky loser last week, and Wild Edric.
The meeting is a scheduled eight-race card with a 2pm start and both the Men's and Ladies' Open races have attracted large entries.
Among the 49 entered in the Men's Open are Sparkling Spring, the mount of Evan Williams, Northern Deal from the yard of Dick Baimbridge, and the veteran Mounthenry Star.
The Ladies' Open has an entry of 44 including local favourite Upton Adventure, Market Springer, Teme Willow and Do It Once.
