TWENTY-one teams of four golfers took part in the Malvern Rotary Charity Golf Day organised at the Worcestershire Golf Cub on Thursday, May 8, in aid of the County Air Ambulance and the Rotary Polio Plus programme, by Harry Tanner.
Congratulations go to the Willis Westcott team of Andy Bird, Richard Bird, Tony Hill and Les Thomas who beat the only ladies team of Liz Evans, Pat Longley, Ann Menzies and Linda Ottway into second place by two points, from Bill Fahey, Charlie Poole, Bruce Duncan and Peter Ratcliffe.
The generosity of local businesses in sponsoring such an event was excellent, none more so than Rodways of Ledbury the main sponsor and Bronte Porcelain who produced and donated the marvellous first prizes.
