ANYONE who has ever wanted to see a flute made out of bamboo will get the chance at a demonstration on Saturday, May 24.
A workshop and masterclass in Andean music is being offered by a group of highly-acclaimed South American musicians on their first ever European tour.
Five of Bolivia's finest, collectively known as Kallawaya, are offering the chance to come and try out the tools of their trade, including Latin-American guitar, panpipes, Andean flutes, charango (10-string guitar) and percussion.
The workshop will run from 3pm to 5pm, before the musicians show how it's done in a concert at 8pm.
The programme includes a range of South American music, moving from rural music to Latin jazz using a wide variety of instruments and rhythms.
Both events take place at The Courtyard arts centre, Edgar Street, Hereford. Tickets are £10 (£8 concs), on 01432 359252.
