STEVE Adshead hit a century for Worcestershire on the second day of their Second Eleven Championship match against Derbyshire at Ombersley yesterday.
The youngster cracked 161 which included 27 fours and one six.
Earlier, Derbyshire had taken their overnight score of 370-7 to 435 all out in 127 overs.
The County declared their reply on 331-5 off 82 overs after Adshead had blasted the visitors' at-tack.
By the close last night Derbyshire had extended their overall lead to 134 by reaching 30-0 off seven overs.
