A NEW initiative has been launched to tackle the menace of potholes in Malvern's roads.
Worcestershire County Council has pledged to improve its road maintenance standards.
In Malvern, a new pothole patrol vehicle will be roaming the roads in and around the town, looking for defects.
The vehicle is crewed by highway inspectors Candice Key, Ben Sparrow and John Williams, who will be inspecting the roads more often and more thoroughly.
Mike Davis, of the Malvern Hills Highway Partnership, said: "They will find the potholes, mark them and get the contractors out to deal with them."
