A FLORAL wreath simply saying the word "daddy", summed up the family love for a keen biker and father-of-four, who died in a motorbike accident.
Bikers from across the county brought the streets of Worcester to a standstill yesterday, as the leather clad funeral cortege paid respect and tribute to "gentle giant" Andrew Hall.
The 45-year-old died after his red Triumph 955cc motorcycle collided with a car and trailer and another bike, near Cleobury Mortimer, on Sunday, May, 4.
More than 200 people crammed into Worcester Crematorium to hear a moving service, which included songs by guitarist Joe Satriani, picked by family members as personal favourites of Mr Hall.
"To see how packed the service was, really showed how much Andrew was liked by everyone," said Nick Holt, who had known Mr Hall for almost 23 years and was his closest friend.
"I have never known a service so busy. It is really a fitting tribute to his memory."
Mr Hall, aged 45, from Arrowsmith Avenue in St John's leaves four daughters aged six to 14.
He was a member of Worcester Auto Club in Perdiswell and standing at 6ft 4ins was seen by friends very much as a gentle giant, due to his easy-going nature. Mr Hall worked as a heating system designer at Nu-Way Ltd in Droitwich.
