A RESERVIST nurse who has been in Iraq for more than two months has been reunited with her family.
Mum-of-three Jennifer Poyner said she was looking forward to spending quality time with her husband and three children.
Her family spent days preparing for her return, and decked out their Worcester house with bunting to celebrate.
The wait was finally over on Thursday when Mrs Poyner arrived back in England.
"It's so nice to see the family again," she said.
Mrs Poyner, of Peterborough Close, Ronkswood, had been away from home since February when she was called up to serve in the Middle East.
Her husband Allan Poyner juggled working at Tolladine Community Centre while looking after their children Ken, Mary-Ann and David.
Mrs Poyner was based in East Anglia for several weeks before finally being sent to Kuwait, and was not expected to return home until September.
She has been a member of the 202 Field Officers reservist unit of the Royal Army Medical Corps for 16 years, but this was the first time she had ever had to serve in a conflict.
