A CONCERT is being held tonight by The Bretforton Silver Band in memory of those who died in the M25 coach crash.
The band will be playing a programme of music at the Methodist Church, Bridge Street at 7.30pm. All money raised will be donated to Air Ambulance.
Five people died last November when a coach operated by WR Spring crashed as it returned to Evesham after a pre-Christmas shopping day trip to France on Saturday, November 16. A sixth person died later in hospital.
Since the tragedy, WR Spring, which was based at Bengeworth and Hinton-on-the-Green, near Evesham, has ceased trading, as one of the family firm's members, Graham Spring, aged 56, was among those killed in the accident.
Other victims included Christopher Sloane, aged 43, who was one of WR Spring's drivers on the ill-fated trip, and his wife, Karen, 38. They were from Evesham.
Passengers killed in the crash were Norma Evans, aged 54, of Badsey and Bernard Coppin, 62, of Drakes Broughton. Jane Wedgbury, 39, of Alcester, died in hospital three days after the crash.
An April, an inquest recorded a verdict of accidental death, after concluding that driver Mr Sloane fell asleep behind the wheel.
