PEOPLE who have problems with dodgy companies or shoddy goods can now obtain help at monthly advice sessions.

Worcestershire County Council Trading Standards Service is to hold monthly surgeries in Evesham after a successful trial last month.

Officers will be at Evesham Community Contact Centre on the last Friday of each month.

"Most people in Worcestershire would not necessarily have been able to have face-to-face advice in the past," said Alison Cornelious, senior consumer advice officer.

"We are keen to change that and Evesham has proved there is a need for us to visit."

People will also be able to receive advice on issues ranging from credit and debt to doorstep traders.

The next visit will be on Friday May 30, from 10am to noon. Appointments are not necessary but if you wish to book one, call 01386 443322.
