SIXTIES icon Petula Clark and pop sensation Mis-Teeq are the latest acts to sign up for Wyvern FM's weekend of live music in Worcester.
The singer will star in the Classical Picnic & Proms part of the two-day concert in June.
Girl band Mis-Teeq will be appearing at the pop day of the festival, XS2003, alongside the likes of Atomic Kitten and Big Brovaz.
Ms Clark found herself in the limelight as a child performer entertaining the troops in the Second World War.
She went on to perform on radio and in live concerts but did not record her first single, Music, Music, Music, until 1949.
Since then she has recorded more than 1,000 songs, including Downtown and I Know a Place which earned her Grammies in 1964 and 1965 respectively.
As well as great success on the French pop scene, during the 60s Ms Clark starred in two Hollywood musicals, Finian's Rainbow and Goodbye Mr Chips, opposite the likes of Fred Astaire and Peter O'Toole.
In the 70s she was a Las Vegas superstar and in the 80s she reinvented herself as a stage star, appearing in West End productions of The Sound of Music and her own musical Someone Like You.
In the 90s she made her Broadway debut alongside David and Shaun Cassidy in Blood Brothers and was awarded the CBE in 1998.
Mis-Teeq are arguably the UK's top r'n'b garage girl band after storming the charts in 2001 with Why.
The band, comprising of Alesha, Sabrina and Su-Elise, went on to record their top hits, All I Want, One Night Stand B With You and the double A side Roll On/This is How We Do It and most recently Scandalous.
XS2003 will be held on Saturday, May 31, with the Picnic and Proms the following day. Both events are at the New Road cricket ground.
