I THINK the report by Leda Reynolds concerning tax credits was totally unnecessary.
If mother-of four Judith Over needed her tax credits to pay her rent, all she had do to was visit her local tax office.
Louise Draper could also have visited her local tax office for a payment to cover any shortfall in her child/working tax credits.
These people, and the Evening News, are doing a disservice to the already overworked staff at the enquiry centre at Whittington Road. Give them a chance.
