A MAN stole goods from a DIY store in Worcester to fund his drug habit, Worcester magistrates heard.
The court yesterday ordered a pre-sentence report for Lee Raymond, from Portefields Road in Tolladine, Worcester.
The offence took place on Thursday, May 8, when Raymond was seen by store detectives in Homebase, on Blackpole Road, unpacking three electrical items and putting them under his top before walking out without paying for them.
When confronted outside the store the 23-year-old admitted to the offence.
He was bailed to return to Worcester magistrates on Thursday, June 12, on the conditions that he stays away from the Homebase store in Blackpole, he only resides at his home address and reports to the police every Monday and Friday.
