FASHIONS from throughout history brought the past to life at Hanbury Hall.
The History Clothes Show was one of a series of workshops to be held at the National Trust property near Droitwich, in which visitors were able to try on a selection of outfits.
Among the clothes to try were replicas of Tudor garb which would have predated Hanbury Hall by almost 100 years.
"People could have a go at felt-making and paper crafts where they could make period hats," said the event's organiser Katie Holland, regional events co-ordinator for the National Trust.
"We had a natural dyer, block printing and badge making.
"There were lots of children having a go and getting stuck in. It was very hands on."
The History Clothes Show took place over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, May 17 and 18, was part of the Events Alive programme which runs at National Heritage properties throughout the West Midlands.
The next event at Hanbury Hall is Taking Part in Art, an arts and crafts show, on Wednesday, June 14.
