Trooper Albert Andrews, of the Warwickshire Yeomanry Cavalry, met with a rather nasty accident on Monday night upon returning to his home in Beoley Road from a parade in Henley-in-Arden.
Somehow or other, he got thrown from his horse between Beoley and Redditch and was rather badly bruised.
He was taken home and medically attended.
None of the injuries are of a serious nature.
