AVONCROFT Cricket Club Seconds recorded a losing draw in a rain-reduced 34-over match at Claverley last Saturday.
Claverley batted first and struggled to 102-7 with Croft youngster Adam Rodway taking 3-33 in ten overs.
In reply, the visitors were in trouble at 18-3, but new boy James Aldred turned the innings around with 43 not out.
He was joined by Luke Townsend (22no), but Croft finished five runs short of the target.
