IN the Nationwide Doors & Windows Snooker & Billiards Leagues, all of the knockout tournaments have now finished.
In snooker, Pershore B beat Westside A in the Thurston's Team Knockout Cup final, to achieve an unprecedented second consecutive league and cup double. Their Division One victory was also their fourth in a row.
Sean Lannie also completed another unique feat by winning both the singles and singles handicap tournaments.
Elsewhere, Simon Clarke and Carl Shaw won the snooker pairs for the second time in four years, and Dave Meynell won the over-50s singles for the second year running.
In the Billiards League, Suzy Q defeated Heenans A to win the Pete Robinson Cup for the first time. Also, Mick Painter won the billiards singles, ten years after winning it for the first time. Gary Williams and Jack Lewis took the billiards pairs for the second time in four years.
The League's AGM will be at 7.30pm on May 29 at GWRSA, with the presentation night taking place at 7.30pm on June 13 at the Heenans club.
