JB Priestley's classic thriller An Inspector Calls plays at Malvern's Festival Theatre from Monday.

The Royal National Theatre production is directed by Stephen Daldry, famed for directing feature films Billy Elliott and The Hours.

It has won more awards than any other play in the ten years since Daldry first directed it.

An Inspector Calls is set just before The FirstWorld War when Inspector Goole calls unexpectedly upon the wealthy Birling family.

Inspector Goole is played by Nicholas Day, who appeared in the Royal Shakespeare Company's The Tempest.

David Roper, who starred as Geoff in Eastenders, plays Mr Birling and Dominic Taylor stars as Gerald Croft.

Dominic has recently been seen in BBC's Doctors playing Raphael Finney and as Ivan in Coupling.

The cast also includes Sandra Duncan as Mrs Birling, Katherine Tozer as Shiela Birling and Jamie de Courcey as Eric Birling.

An Inspector Calls runs until May 31.

Tickets cost £10-£18 (students £8) on 01684 892277 or:
