THE Wychbold family of an American army veteran, killed in last week's Saudi Arabia suicide bombings are mourning his tragic death.
Thirty-seven-year-old Todd Bair of Wychbold was described by his wife, Samantha as "the ideal husband and father" in a statement issued by police this week.
The father-of-two was one of 34 people who lost their life when three Al-Qaida suicide bombers attacked residential compounds in the capital, Riyadh last Monday.
United States born Mr Bair worked as a logistical officer in Riyadh for an American corporation since August 2002.
His wife, Samantha, said: "We have been totally devastated by the news that Todd has been killed in this senseless atrocity.
"He was both an ideal husband and father and had served his country as a member of the American armed forces for 14 years. We would now like to be left in peace to come to terms with our tragic loss."
He leaves behind two sons. Eight-year old Blake who attends Wychbold First and Nursery School and Daniel, aged 11 who attends another school in the county.
Headteacher of Wychbold First and Nursery School in School Road, Eleanor Sinton said: "I met Mr Bair on a couple of occasions when he attended school events. He was a lovely man and very proud of his two sons.
"We held a special assembly on the Wednesday when we found out about his death and the children all made cards which we took around to the family.
"The two boys have been very brave and we are proud at the way they have behaved.
