STUDLEY eased into the second round of the Birmingham League Challenge Cup Knockout after opponents Stratford withdrew.
The struggling Division One side were set to visit Washford Fields for their round one tie tonight (Wednesday) but were unable to raise a side.
Brandon Miller's side can now look forward to a home draw against either Division One side Leamington or Premier Division outfit Coventry and North Warwickshire.
Studley's customary slow start was compounded by rain at the weekend.
Mark Edwards hit 50 as Miller's troops were put in to bat but Studley lost six wickets before rain brought a swift end to proceedings to leave vice captain Richard Gregory disappointed.
Studley entertain Blossomfield on Saturday (1pm start) and are hoping to bring the visitors' bright start to the season to a shuddering halt.
And Washford Fields is again the venue on Bank Holiday Monday when Attock are in town (1pm start).
