AFTER reading about Ali Abbas, I will be donating to his fund. By all accounts, the doctors treating him say he's doing well.
However, due to one missile attack, this boy's life has been ruined beyond belief.
Is it possible to imagine unending days lying on a hospital bed in a foreign land with no mother to love, cuddle or console you, and no father to give you words of encouragement in your darkest hours?
Ali won't be able to enjoy simple things like playing games, writing, driving, shugging a girlfriend or holding his children.
I think Dave Gillespie is correct (You Say, Friday, April 25). People who think the war was just after seeing a few villagers waving at coalition forces can't be taken seriously.
