From June 3, the club will be starting its summer programme, which will involve outings every Tuesday evening to take advantage of the light nights and to put the cameras to use before retiring for refreshments at a convenient hostelry. Full details of this programme, including meeting places, will be posted on the club website at www.bromsgroveps.org.uk

The society is intending to run a membership drive during the rest of this year. The hobby of photography is evolving fast and the development of digital cameras is attracting many new people into the pastime.

Bromsgrove Photographic Society caters for all types of photography. The important thing is to learn to produce well exposed and pleasing images, whether that is off film or from a digital camera, in colour or monochrome, using a darkroom or a computer.

The society has members using all types of cameras and equipment and actively encourages this diversity. For those who wish to participate in competitions there are classes available for all standards. For those who want to meet like-minded people and benefit from the experience of others, again such support is available for all types of photography.
