BROMSGROVE Swimming Club finished third at their latest graded sprint gala.
The club were pushed into third after some swimmers were disqualified for exceeding set times.
Philippa Thomas took the U10s 50m backstroke in the opening event last Saturday and Edward Mansell was pushed into second in the U12s boys 50m breaststroke in 50.14 seconds.
Mansell's strong performance added to the U12s 4x1 freestyle and medley relay teams, each achieving second place. The U14s boys won the 4x1 freestyle relay with ease in just over one minute. The U14s girls 4x1 freestyle team also led their field home.
Richard German won the Open 50m freestyle and teamed up with Simon Smith, James Alton and Joe Hobbis to win the Open 4x1 medley relay.
Rebecca Sydenham took second in the Open 50m backstroke and Louise Bussey was second in the U14s 50m freestyle event.
Christopher Perkes won the U12s 50m backstroke.
