UP to 200 Muslims from across Redditch will march through the town centre on Sunday as part of an annual celebration.
It will be the first time a procession will take place in Redditch to mark the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him.
The day, known as Milad un Nabi, will begin at 2pm when Muslims will gather on a piece of land in Smallwood earmarked for the creation of a new mosque.
The procession will go along Marsden Road, across Ipsley Street towards the Palace Theatre, past the police station and down Archer Road to the current mosque on Easemore Road.
