TARDEBIGGE children witnessed scenes from life aboard a canal boat in the 1950s as part of British Waterways educational initiative Harry's Cut.
The event took place at Tardebigge New Wharf last week and was supported by Worcestershire Embark and the Heritage Lottery Fund.
Harry's Cut uses restored working boats, actors and specially designed teaching materials to show what life was like for the people who lived and worked on Britain's canals.
It reveals the history of the canals since Victorian times through the experiences of Harry and his family and sets the scene for the decline during the 1950s of a way of life that had remained unchanged for generations.
The 28 youngsters from Tardebigge First School watched the unfolding drama.
