THERE was no time for horsing around for Redditch Fire Brigade's White Watch when they completed some rather specific rescue training.
The firefighters were shown how to rescue horses from various situations by experts at Beoley Equestrian Centre.
Led by Leading Firefighter Nigel Smart, the crew was shown how to handle horses when they become trapped in bogs or ditches.
Director of Beoley Equestrian Centre Ltd, Nigel Edmonds, said even he had had to call the fire service before for a horse rescue.
The equestrian centre said it would be more than willing to give other crews the chance to learn more about animal rescue.
