A MALVERN company is making the most of a new fund designed to promote technology.
Cellpharm, on Malvern Hills Science Park, makes bioreactors that help to make algae for fish farms and other businesses in the aquaculture market throughout the world.
They also make a product called Blanket-Out, an environmentally-friendly product that kills blanket weed on ponds.
The company has applied for a slice of a new technology fund, called the Prograta Fund, which helps small businesses with good ideas get off the ground.
Malcolm Harbour, one of the region's euro MPs, visited Cellpharm recently to discuss the Prograta Fund and its applications.
It is hoped the £900,000 fund, created by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) in conjunction with the science park, will boost rural business growth in Worcestershire.
