VICE-president Miriam Knowles welcomed 51 members to the group meeting on April 24.
Details of the May ramble and summer outing to Sulgrave Manor were given.
Speaker Chris Ball, a solicitor and deputy coroner for Birmingham, gave a very interesting, informative and amusing talk entitled "A sticky end". Chris interspersed his talk with some beautiful operatic excerpts.
At the next meeting on May 22 at Wythall Village Hall, Anne Dale and Anne Hemming will talk about and demonstrate hanging baskets.
