TENBURY Swimming Pool has gone 'Bananas' and it is good news for people keen on keeping fit.
Following a three-month building project, the Banana Fitness suite is up and running.
Built at a cost of £100,000, the centre has been partly paid for by Teme Rural Challenge and Sport and Leisure Management who currently manage Tenbury Pools on behalf of Tenbury Swimming Guild and Malvern Hills District Council.
Banana Fitness provides affordable and accessible fitness suites with an emphasis on fun, choice, innovation and results.
At Tenbury customers have a choice of the latest cardio, strength and conditioning programmes and sport fitness equipment, supported by a team of fitness motivators.
Ian Bonsall, business manager for Banana, said: "Exercise is important for everyone, but people often get bored and fail to stick to a programme. At Tenbury we are focusing on results."
The fitness suite was officially opened on Sunday.
