ALL the fun of carnival comes to Tenbury on Bank Holiday Monday and if last year's event is anything to go by, it will be a great day out for all the family.
Starting at noon, the moment Tenbury Town Band swings into action, the procession of floats, led by the May Queen, will move off along Teme Street on the way to Palmer's Meadow where the main events are being held.
A mixture of local talent will entertain the crowds with music until the early evening and a bar and barbecue will be on hand to feed appetites and quench a thirst or two.
Afternoon events on Palmer's Meadow include children's races, organised by Tenbury Branch of the Royal Naval Association, and a tug-of-war with a barrel of beer being awarded to the winning men's team while the winning women will receive a case of wine.
There will also be fun agility classes for dogs while children can enjoy attractions, including a fun fair and bouncy castle.
