THE annual parish meeting was held at the village hall with, among others, representatives from Gloucestershire County Council, councillor Barry Dare, Cotswold District Council, councillors Carole Topple and Robert Barnett, and the Gloucestershire Police Neighbourhood Watch. Some informative points and issues were made by all and their effect on taxpayers and residents. Coun Topple was given a vote of thanks for having served as the representative on the district council. At the first parish council meeting immediately afterwards, coun Cox was re-elected to the position of chairman and coun Geraldine Digweed as vice-chairman. The next meeting is scheduled for June 26 and parishioners are urged to attend and voice their concerns with the council.
