MURDER, mayhem and a hefty dose of cutting comments will all be in the melting pot for the latest production by Broadway Players.
The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society Murder Mystery is the title of the riotous comedy set to entertain Lifford Hall audiences tonight, tomorrow and on Saturday.
Five women will be playing 12 characters in a long and twisting plot being overseen by the director, John Stevens, a local professional actor.
Mr Stevens said: "We really have had great fun putting this together. The ladies of Farndale Avenue forget their lines, destroy the set and generally bitch with each other so I'm glad our cast really gets on - though I'm sure the audience will think they hate each other by the end of the evening.
"Without giving too much away, the plot involves a number of murders, a bit of mayhem, not to mention a fashion show, some cooking tips, a slide show and a quiz!"
The play is at The Lifford Hall, Broadway, from tonight until Saturday. Tickets (£5) are available from Jelfs and Gallimaufry in Broadway High Street or Ashmore's in Leamington Road.
