THE Battle of the Sexes rages once again in the latest production by Stratford College performing arts students.
Lysistrata - Rock Chick is an adaptation of a classic play by Greek writer Aristophanes, which tells the story of women uniting against their men because they are always at war.
Set against a backdrop of 1970s music featuring tracks by Slade and Thin Lizzy, a sex strike ensues with the women refusing to submit until they get peace.
Programme manager Susan Mountney, who directed the play, said: "It's very topical because of all the recent peace marches. In fact, it's quite an orgasmic experience."
The play is being performed at 7.30pm today and tomorrow.
Tickets cost £4 and are available from the college reception or on the door.
