NETBALL: The Cleobury Mortimer Sports Centre Spring League Division One is getting tighter with all teams performing well.
Horse and Jockey, who lead the table on goal difference, defeated mid-table Lacon Blues 19-10 with Kirsty Evans (11) and Nicola Evans (8) scoring the points.
Angela Cole replied with all 10 goals for the Blues.
In second place are Kingfisher who edged out Jokers 9-8, thanks to Liane McDonald (5) and Mo Greehan (4).
But five points from Deb Burnand and three by Laura Harding kept the result in doubt.
The Movers completed a 29-5 thrashing of bottom-of-the-table Bewdley Bombers as Gemma Finnemore scored 19 of their goals.
