I AM writing to appeal to all local residents who love living in this very scenic and beautiful part of the country.
Please help fight the proposed airport expansion at nearby Halfpenny Green.
Time is running out, and the proposal to expand this airport to the size of Birmingham Airport will massively affect the area.
The assumed approaches and turning areas will be directly over most parts of the Wyre Forest district.
It will mean high levels of noise, as well as having a major impact on our roads.
If this proposal goes ahead, it could mean the resurgence of the Western Orbital road.
The whole area will be massively developed and spoilt forever.
So please, if you enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of our area, get involved, visit the Wolverhampton Airport Action Group website, write to Dr Richard Taylor MP, or write direct to the Minister of Transport.
We have fought the incinerator and have let our opinions be known on the closure of the hospital. It is time to again hear the voice of the people of Wyre Forest.
