I WAS walking with my small dog on the lead from the Habberley Valley car park into the valley on Saturday, April 5,when my dog was attacked by a very large rottweiler which was running loose, accompanied by a second rottweiler and their owner.
Trying to protect my little dog I ended up on the ground, while the owner of the rottweilers said very little and walked off.
Two ladies witnessed the attack and voluntarily gave me their names and addresses after we had taken the car make and registration number of the owner of the dogs.
I was very shaken and drove immediately to Kidderminster Police Station where I reported the attack and gave all the details.
To my knowledge no action has been taken, as I have not been contacted by the police. Surprise, surprise.
Oliver Letwin has got it right.
Why bother with someone with a dangerous dog when you can pick up a motorist doing 31mph up the High Street?
No doubt the reason is "priorities" - do the easy ones to meet the targets.
