PUPILS from Evesham's St Richard's First School and Simon de Montfort Middle School said goodbye to their site manager when he retired last Friday.
Neal Reynolds, aged 65, has worked at the two schools for almost 25 years and is now looking forward to retirement with his wife.
Mr Reynolds was presented with cards made by the pupils in the afternoon and a party was held for him in the evening.
Mr Reynolds said: "I have been given some fantastic presents and have been absolutely overwhelmed. I will miss the job terribly."
The father-of-two also has three grandchildren and plans to spend more time with his family. He is also planning several walking holidays with his wife.
Patricia Edwards, St Richard's school secretary, said: "Mr Reynolds is just brilliant. He was fantastic to everyone and he really will be missed."
