THE spotlight fell on Badsey's Under-14 cricketers last weekend when the weather caused the abandonment of the Under-12s clash against Dumbleton.
Harvington scored 162 in the face of some tight Badsey bowling with Sam Thompson taking 5-7 in three overs.
A series of wides plagued the bowling effort while the reply produced several weak dismissals despite a winning score of 261-5. Marcus Hump-stone (24) and Nick Powell (19) were best with the bat.
There was disappointment for the club's Under-13s who crashed out of the Worcester League Knockout Cup at the first hurdle.
Barnards Green totalled 93-3 in their 20 overs a score that proved 18 too many for Bad-sey who ended on 75-8.
Steve Bosworth top scored with an unbeaten 30.
The Under-12s face Dum-bleton in a rearranged league clash tonight and Drakes Broughton on Sunday, the same day as the Under-14s tackle Tanworth-in-Arden.
