DRINKERS at a Bewdley pub have been left in no doubt where the landlord's allegiances lie - because the entire building has been draped in a giant Wolves banner.
Fans Stephen Eaton and his wife Denise have decked out the Waggon and Horses, Kidderminster Road, in the club colours to cheer on their team ahead of Monday's crunch clash with Sheffield United in Cardiff to win promotion to the Premiership. Denise Eaton sports a special play-off final shirt in front of the heavily disguised Waggon and Horses pub in Bewdley.
And people have been finding the new look hard to ignore.
"We've been getting all kinds of response, as you can imagine.
"We usually get people driving past honking their horn - they're the Wolves fans," said Mrs Eaton.
"We've got a lot of customers who are Baggies supporters. There's a lot of banter that goes on but it's never nasty."
The banner was custom-made by a Kidderminster sports firm and was put up with the help of sympathetic drinkers on Saturday.
Mrs Eaton, 42, who is travelling to the Millennium Stadium with her husband for the game, said Wolves could finally join the elite this year after repeated disappointments.
"I think we've had quite a bit of luck. We haven't played particularly brilliantly but hopefully He's shining on us from up there."
Mrs Eaton added she is looking forward to celebrating if the team does make it.
