LUDLOW Homing Society raced from West Bay on Saturday and liberated at 11.50 in a south-west wind. The first birds home made easy work of the 112 miles despite flying through heavy storms averaging just under a mile a minute.
The Pitt fanciers had a good day with Trevor and Mark just beating Colin and Eugene by 120 yards, and Charles Pitt.
