TWO talented youngsters seem set to see their circus dream come true - thanks to the Shuttle/Times and News.

Wyre Forest's Will Stevens and Andrew Healey met the stars of the Moscow State Circus for an audition after organisers were told of the talents of the young performers.

The circus has set up its big top in Oldington Sports Ground, Andrew Healey and Will Stevens meet clown Andrey Averiouchkine and juggler Oxana Bougrove.

Kidderminster, for a seven-day run which ends on Bank Holiday Monday.

Andrew, 21, of The Oaklands, Kidderminster, first met performers from the Moscow State Circus four years ago.

He said: "I was a pupil at Bewdley High when I was offered the chance of work experience at a fish and chip shop or at a golf club.

"I was desperate to join a circus and my mum phoned up the circus which I joined in Cheltenham for a few days.

"Since then, I have become a professional entertainer and I work all over the country."

He added: "It was great to meet them again.

Andrew can be seen at Bewdley Carnival this summer.

Will, of Stourport, learnt his champion circus skills at Stourport High School and is now a professional unicyclist. The 18-year-old, who won a national championship last month, said: "It was great to meet some of the world's most talented cyclists and jugglers."

After the audition, both youngsters were asked to send in videos of their performances to managers of Gerry Cottle's Circus and the All Electric Circus.

Circus spokesman Gerry Cottle Jnr said: "We are always happy to meet young talent and look forward to seeing Will and Andrew again.

"It could be a great experience for them and we are very grateful to the Shuttle/Times and News for setting up the audition."
