THE woman behind Saturday's stunning ball at the Harriers football ground has won a sparkling thank-you.
Professional party organiser Dawn Anglin - this week's champagne winner - gave more than 100 hours of her time to put on the extravaganza at Kidderminster Harriers' Aggborough Stadium to raise thousands of pounds for the Kemp Hospice appeal.
Keen Harriers supporter Miss Anglin, 41, of Bridge Road, Cookley, said she had never used Kemp but had been determined to raise money for it.
"I had ovarian cancer five years ago," she said. "I realised how important it was I had a service like that in Birmingham.
"It's the support network - you don't realise until you're touched by an illness like that how important that network is."
